Kevin And Danielle Jonas Expecting First Child

'Married to Jonas' star confirms that his wife and 'best friend' is pregnant.

It seems that after "Wedding Bells" come the cries of a newborn baby. Kevin Jonas confirmed on Tuesday (July 9) that he and wife Danielle are expecting their first child together.

"It's true @daniellejonas is pregnant!" Jonas tweeted Tuesday afternoon. "can't even imagine how excited we are I can't wait to share this with my best friend. I love you baby."

The couple married back in December 2009, six months after Kevin got down on one knee on then Danielle Deleasa's doorstep. And last summer, five years after the couple met on vacation in the Bahamas, they decided to take fans along for the often bumpy ride of a celebrity marriage with their own E! reality show, "Married to Jonas."

For diehard JoBro fans and avid "Married to Jonas" viewers, their decision should hardly be a surprising one. Last summer, Kevin hinted that he had been "feeling the pressure" from his wife's family to have a little one, and later, while promoting their new reality show, the couple teased of their plans to "build our future family."

"Obviously, [the cameras] were there for all of it," he told MTV News last August. "They really have followed us in what was going on in our life, and so there's a lot of family stuff, a lot of stuff with me and my brothers. I'm in the studio. We're in and out of that, but really it's just the choices that we're making as a couple and how we're growing and continuing to build our future family."

The joyous news broke just one day before the band kicks off their Jonas Brothers Live Tour in Chicago, and amid what is probably a busy time as they prep their first album in three years. And while their upcoming fifth studio album is undoubtedly exciting -- the guys promised MTV News it would be their "best album yet" -- for Kevin, nothing compares to his upcoming Jonas Jr.

"I was overjoyed. It's been the most exciting thing in my life so far," Kevin told to E! News after learning about his wife's pregnancy. "I'm excited and I'm nervous."
