Fabolous Looks Super Sad In 'Ready' Video Sneak Peek

Loso, what's wrong? Tune into MTV Jams on Wednesday 6 p.m. ET to see the full clip!

Fabolous is almost ready. It's been about a month in the making, but on Wednesday, the Brooklyn MC will unveil the first music video to his upcoming Loso's Way 2 album at 6 p.m. ET on MTV Jams.

For [article id="1703490"]"Ready,"[/article] Fab and his co-star Chris Brown hit the beaches of Malibu, California, and the Dominican Republic to create a visual that matches the heat of the Runners-produced track. Ahead of the premiere, MTV News was treated to a 30-second teaser clip where we find a somber-looking Loso dining alone, outdoors, with the beach at his back. Not even a smirk from his waitress could brighten the rap lothario's mood.

It's hard to tell what's eating Fab, but he clearly has some connection to the waitress, so after she picks up his plate from the table, Loso loosens the gold watch from his wrist and leaves it under a napkin for an unusual tip.

We caught up with the Street Fam lyricist at the video's shoot, and he spoke on the concept of "Ready" in the broadest sense. Despite its melodic and sensual sound, the R&B-laced track goes beyond the bedroom. "I actually made this song to inspire other people. 'Ready' is a mind state you want to be in as well," he said. "That's the kind of mind state I want to be in -- I want to be ready for whatever the world brings to me... it's also for you and your lady. You might just be trying to get her ready for whatever you're trying to get her ready for. That's what the song does too."

As far as specific plot points in the video, Fabolous kept it all under wraps. "I don't want to tell the whole video, but Chris Brown is definitely killing his performances as usual, and he pulls off another spectacular performance today," he said.

Tune in to MTV Jams on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET to catch Fabolous and Chris Brown's video for "Ready."
