Tyler, The Creator Steps Into The Ring For 'Domo 23' Video

The Odd Future standout stars as a professional wrestler in his brand-new music video.

He may not be [article id="1669638"]handling hissing cockroaches[/article] or performing as [article id="1679894"]a rapping centaur[/article], but Odd Future main man Tyler, the Creator still knows how to make a totally weird, completely amazing music video.

In this case, it's the clip for "Domo 23," the first single off his upcoming Wolf album (due April 2nd ...complete with three rather amazing covers). He premiered the video late Thursday (February 14) night and stars in it as a codpiece-sporting wrestler named Fookie Bookie -- sort of an amalgamation of Koko B. Ware and early-period Road Dogg, but with better hair. He squares off against fellow Odd Future member Domo Genesis, battles a gigantic masked grappler, takes a vicious chair shot, gets tossed through a table and somehow manages to triumph due to some dirty tricks (ref Earl Sweatshirt was probably distracted or something).

Needless to say, if you're a wrestling fan, you'll probably love it. Oh, and at the end of the clip, he rides a bike with a pretty girl and does doughnuts in a parking lot (to say nothing of the song itself, which manages to work in joking shots at both Justin Bieber and One Direction), so there's really something for everyone. Basically, in every conceivable way it's a welcome addition to Tyler's already out-there back catalog.

Tyler is also gearing up to launch a tour in support of Wolf, which kicks off on March 12 in Columbus, Ohio, and runs until the middle of April. No word if he'll work a Hell in a Cell match into the proceedings, but one can always hope.
