Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Explain: What Were Those Halloween Costumes?

'It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven,' Pattinson tells us during 'MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.'

What is the best cure for a sugar-saturated post-Halloween hangover? Waiting out the effects of the sugar coma by scrolling through all the fun photos of celebrities in costume, of course!

This year seemed particularly festive for a slew of our favorite stars like Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and "Twilight" superstars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

Where most of these celebs' costumes were easy to figure out, the duds donned by Stewart and Pattinson left us wondering about who or what they were dressed up as. Lucky for us, we had the opportunity to ask the actors to explain their not-so-obvious costumes during "MTV First: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" on Thursday (November 1) and presented them with the photographic evidence in order to do so.

Who is the greatest "Twilight" character ever? Vote now in the Twi-Fight!

"Oh yeah, I look awesome," Stewart said sarcastically about the photo, in which she's wearing a short pink wig and sunglasses and Pattinson is wearing a creepy clear mask with huge eyebrows painted over it. "That's not fair. That's actually a really weird [photo]."

"That's not me!" Pattinson exclaimed with fake outrage, before collapsing into a fit of giggles.

As it turns out, Stewart did put some thought into her costume and described it as an homage of sorts to a favorite film.

"I love 'Closer.' [It's] one of my favorite movies," she said of the 2004 Mike Nichols-directed movie starring Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Natalie Portman, who dons a pink wig while she's working as a stripper. "If you've seen that, that's one aspect of [Portman's] character. She changes a lot in that movie, but that's one part, yeah."

Pattinson, however, didn't have any good or creative information to offer about his character, which he and Stewart agreed made him look like a creepy serial killer.

"I chose someone who is just genuinely terrifying. It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven," he admitted.

Don't forget to cast your vote in MTV News' epic Twi-Fight Saga. Only eight characters remain in the battle for the title of #1 "Twilight" character!
