Pauly D 'Flattered' By Deadmau5 Twitter Feud

'Jersey Shore' star says he's 'not mad at all' about mau5's comments bashing his 'Night of My Life' video.

Last week, "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D shared some heated words with deadmau5 over the nature of his own art.

It all started when Pauly asked his Twitter followers if they liked his [article id="1685371"]brand-new "Night of My Life" video[/article]. deadmau5 didn't and stated his opinion about it on his own Twitter feed, bashing the clip that features Pauly in the club spinning and greeting fans behind the scenes. From there, the twosome went at it, with Pauly at one point even joking, "Being Hated On By deadmau5#Priceless."

Even in the aftermath of the headline-grabbing back-and-forth, the tanned DJ managed to have a good laugh about the beef with mau5. And, when he chatted with MTV News about the quarrel, he only had kind words for his fellow dance music star. You see, at the end of the day, Pauly says, it's better to be hated by deadmau5 than not noticed by him at all.

"Nah, he's cool. I'm a fan," he told MTV News at the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey on Saturday, just one day after the "Jersey Shore" star exchanged words with mau5. "He's talented and I'm actually flattered he came at me like he did."

Regardless of whether or not the EDM producer thinks the MTV star's video "looked like it cost about $150 to make" and that there's "nothing really creative about it," Pauly can't believe he took out that much time to watch it and form any sort of opinion about it. "I'm actually flattered he even watched my video," he said. "So I got to be funny about it. I'm not mad at all. I thought it was fun."

In the end, perhaps it's Pauly who's having the last laugh. He later joked, "I don't want to say, but I will: I'm beating him [on iTunes]."
