WEST HOLLYWOOD, California -- Everyone must have knocked off work early on Wednesday (June 1) for MTV's Sneak Peek Week, because by 4:30 p.m. PT, a packed crowd had gathered outside the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. They were here to get an early look at "Horrible Bosses," though, so perhaps it all made sense.

Hopped on free Starbucks Frappuccinos, and with the prospect of checking out one of the summer's most anticipated comedies, the herd of moviegoers hustled inside to watch an advance screening. What they saw was straight up ridiculous. Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day play three old friends with one thing in common: workplace superiors who will go down in cinematic history as some of the most vile, outrageous and evil head honchos ever. And while the pals hatch a plan to kill these villains, they spend more time cracking jokes, mucking around and getting into trouble than they do making progress on their murderous goal. It's an insanely raunchy flick, with scene-stealing turns from the bosses, played by Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey and Colin Farrell.

By the time the credits rolled, the crowd should probably have been hoarse from laughing. But there was still time for a Q&A with Bateman, Sudeikis and director Seth Gordon -- and more laughs followed. MTV News' own Josh Horowitz took the stage to introduce an exclusive clip on MTV, and then launched into the chat online.

"It's nice to do a comedy that has a bunch of stuff that makes you laugh," Bateman said of taking on hard-R material. "It's not just language or nudity. It's kind of tonal -- sometimes you can be meaner to babies."

Yes, a family film this one is not, unless, as Sudeikis suggested, your family is the Mansons. Nonetheless, the stars feel the film provided a bit of educational value ... if they decided to take the law into their own hands.

"I could get it done," Sudeikis said.

"I think I could get it done too," Bateman added. "You'd only need an afternoon to figure out how not to get caught. Most people who commit murder are pretty dumb."

Talk inevitably turned to the crew's own worst work experiences. Sudeikis said his was working in the frozen-food section at a grocery store. Bateman is still traumatized by a Honey Nut Cheerios commercial he shot as a kid, when he had to follow around a drunken crew member waving around a stick that was supposed to signify the cereal's mascot. Offered Gordon, "I had to do dishes at an old folks' home."

"Dishes is the name of a woman," Sudeikis cracked.

This isn't the last we'll be seeing of these guys. [article id="1662783"]Sudeikis is hosting the MTV Movie Awards[/article] on Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and Bateman will be on hand to present a Golden Popcorn statue. Voting in all categories is still under way at MovieAwards.MTV.com, with polls set to close on June 4. But voting for Best Movie will stay open through the show, meaning you can affect the night's biggest winner up until the very last minute.
