Pitbull Ready To 'Rock The Crowd' At MTV Spring Break

'You got to make sure that you send them off so they have an amazing night,' rapper says.

The [article id="1658612"]MTV Spring Break 2011[/article] lineup features Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco and Pitbull.

But Florida rapper Pitbull is the only returning artist on the bill. As a veteran, Mr. "Hotel Room Service" knows the dos and don'ts of the yearly ritual, which will take place in Las Vegas this time around.

"I don't know if there's too many don'ts during spring break -- I think it's all about do," Pit told MTV News. "Who you doing and how you doing it. If you gonna be up there rocking the crowd, you have to give them that energy, you got to make sure that you send them off so they have an amazing night. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but I'm from Miami. Whatever happens in Miami never happened!"

It's been an amazing 12 months for the former Lil Jon protégé. After the success of his "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)," Pitbull's phone started blowing up with calls from the biggest artists in music, from Usher to J. Lo.

The rapper endured years of struggle when he battled his previous label over mismanagement, but now he's reaping the benefits of his newfound position.

"To be able to work with people such as a Jennifer Lopez with the record 'On the Floor' and Enrique Iglesias, Shakira and we got one coming with Marc Anthony. To be able to work with artists of that caliber, what I do, I not only appreciate it, but I sit, I watch, I learn and I apply," Pitbull said. "In order to stay relevant you have to learn from the big dogs. It's been a great year for me learning-wise and now it's time to apply."
