The train is almost here! After a series of delays, [artist id="3217246"]Diddy-Dirty Money[/artist] are finally set to release their album Last Train to Paris on December 14.

The Bad Boy Records CEO apologized for the number of setbacks, but said the project is finally ready. The album's various release dates go as far back as September 2009, but the mogul says there was a reason for the changes.

"The wait is over," Diddy told MTV News. "We pushed our album back a bunch of times because we felt, to be honest, we weren't ready. I think a lot of times artists make that mistake. They get locked into a date and they're like, 'Well, I told everybody my date was this.'

"And it's not fair to change your date four times like we did," he continued. "We're sorry. But at the same time, we had to get to know each other better. We had more work to do to jell. We had to do different things on the album to make it more balanced and really finish the story the right way, not the selfish way. We feel comfortable now that we're telling the story in the way it's supposed to be told."

Currently, Diddy and company are enjoying success with two tracks, the Drake-assisted "Loving You No More" and [article id="1653566"]"Coming Home,"[/article] which the group performed over the weekend on [article id="1653566"]"Saturday Night Live."[/article]

Formerly of Danity Kane, [article id="1653557"]Dirty Money singer Dawn Richard[/article] talked about the long-delayed project that includes a range of stars from Justin Timberlake and Lil Wayne to Chris Brown. She said the payoff for Last Train to Paris stems from three years of recording.

"December 14 is gonna be a really big day for us because it's not one year of saying, 'Oh, we're gonna just decide to put an album together.' It's three years of making sure that people digested what we wanted to give them and they really appreciated the sound that was given," Richard said.
