Apparently there was something stylish going around the "Harry Potter" set ages ago since both Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson have been named the most stylish Brits by Glamour UK.
Watson took the prize for best-dressed female. So why did the fashion mag decide that the actress-turned-Brown-student deserved the coveted prize? "From Hermione in Hogwarts robes to the face of Burberry Prorsum, Emma Watson's rise and rise to style fame has been an interesting one," the article states. "Granted that the star commits a fair few faux pas in the style department, she is the golden girl in the front row at [London Fashion Week] and has re-ignited our love of the classic trench."
The actress is joined in the top 10 by these other British
fashionistas: Victoria Beckham, Keira Knightley, Cheryl Cole, Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, Lily Allen, Pixie Lott, Naomi Campbell and Florence and the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch.
On the male side, "Twilight" hunk Pattinson beat out a number of equally hunky guys as the magazine's top dude in the style department. "Tartan lumberjack shirts and jeans when out and about, drool-inducing tailored suits and skinny ties when on the red carpet," the magazine gushes. "Robert Pattinson is certainly the crush of the moment but now he can now add Britain's Most Stylish Man to his long list of accolades."
Who did RPattz best in the fashion department? Gerard Butler, his onetime "Harry Potter" co-stars Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, David Beckham, Orlando Bloom, "Gossip Girl" star Ed Westwick, boy band JLS, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor round out the top 10.
