Jamie Foxx's 'Winner,' Featuring A New T.I. Verse, Debuts

The track, which also includes Justin Timberlake, premiered on New York radio Tuesday.

With only days left until [article id="1633193"]T.I. is released from an Atlanta halfway house[/article] back to his own home, the Grand Hustle MC is making his musical return known.

First, [article id="1633467"]Tip premiered "I'm Back"[/article] earlier this month on his Web site and announced plans for a new album to be released August 24. Now, the Grammy-winning rapper joins Jamie Foxx and Justin Timberlake on a song called "Winner."

The track, expected to land on Foxx's next album, was leaked last year featuring just the two singers. A new version, however, which premiered on Power 105 jock DJ Envy's New York radio show Tuesday afternoon (March 23), features a guest verse from T.I.

"I'm the fresher, go ask whoever that," Tip raps. "King back, money long as an old Cadillac."

The rapper was sentenced to [article id="1607943"]one year and one day in prison[/article] last March after striking a plea deal with prosecutors stemming from October 2007 gun charges.

In December, T.I. was transferred from prison to a halfway house to serve out the rest of his term, where he was allowed to travel to the studio to work on music and he made [article id="1632461"]a few public appearances[/article], most notably at a charity function organized by his fiancée, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.

T.I. hasn't spoken to the media since he turned himself in, but he issued a brief statement to DJs during a conference call after "I'm Back" debuted. The rapper graciously thanked the group for their support but did not take any questions afterward.

"I appreciate the support and how hard I was going in during the brief hiatus," he said. "The support don't go unnoticed, and I don't take it lightly. This marks a special day for us, because we putting out the first song off the album -- not an official first single, just something to keep the streets warm. It's properly entitled 'I'm Back.' It's a lot of things that needed to be spoken on. In my absence, it was a lot of things that went down, a lot of matters that needed to be addressed. This was the greatest platform for me to do it. It was the first song I did when I came home. You get me fresh out the box going in. I'm sure you guys will enjoy it."
