It looks like singer [artist id="710231"]Pink[/artist] and her ex-husband Carey Hart are giving their relationship another shot. After [article id="1581825"]splitting in 2008[/article] after[article id="1519914"]two years of marriage,[/article] the motocross racer told People.com that the pair are "rebuilding" their relationship. "Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward," Hart said.

After their divorce, the couple said frequently that there were no hard feelings. Quickly after their separation was confirmed, Pink posted on her blog that she and Hart [article id="1581962"]still loved each other,[/article] were best friends and would remain that way. And the feeling seems to be mutual. Hart said to People, "The thing about Pink is she's so dedicated to her fans and putting on amazing live shows. She might not see the record success of a Britney Spears but the girl sells a hell of a lot of albums. She's incredible."

The two were spotted spending time together, taking motorcycle rides and hiking, before Pink hit the road for her current tour, and they rang in the New Year together in Las Vegas earlier this year.

Though Pink is currently on the road, her ex is finding ways to keep busy himself. "I'm really just focusing on my business but also being a great athlete again," he said. "It's something that's in me. I'll be that guy who's 70 years old who's pounding through the desert on a dirt bike."
