T.I., Ciara To Headline Latest Scream Tour

Dates, cities, supporting acts for Screamfest '07 to be announced next week.

Holla! The King of the South and the woman once referred to as the "Princess of Crunk and B" (please don't call her that anymore; she's moved on) will be the main attractions for this year's Scream Tour.

T.I. and Ciara will headline Screamfest '07, which is slated to begin July 24. The last Scream outing was late last year with Omarion and Ne-Yo at the top of the marquee (see "Scream Tour Organizer Eyeing Chris Brown, Ne-Yo For Fifth Installment").

The dates and cities will be announced next week, as well as supporting acts. For now, though, the tour spokesperson says New York; Washington, D.C.; Miami; Detroit; Baltimore; Chicago; and T.I. and Ciara's hometown of Atlanta are definite stops.

On July 3, T.I. releases his T.I. vs. T.I.P. album (see "T.I. Gives 'Rappin' Fool' Eminem A T.I.P. About Alter Egos"). He already put out a video for "Big Things Poppin' " (see "T.I. Has 'Big Things Poppin' ' With Mannie Fresh, Himself On T.I.P.") and has a second single, "You Know What it Is," dropping any second now (see "T.I. Getting Ahead Of His Selves With Second Clip From Alter-Ego LP"). The song is one of many collaborations he has with producer Wyclef Jean on the album (see "T.I. Kick-Starts Wyclef Jean's LP; Mary J. Blige, Akon Tagging Along").

"This song reminds me a lot of 'Bring Em Out,' " T.I. told MTV News last month. "Like how people didn't expect me to come back on no vibe like that, but because of [the track's producer] Swizz [Beatz] it was easy for me to make that transition and do something different. And this is the same thing. 'Clef did the same thing for me on this album."
