Britney Spears kept her haircut under cover at [article id="1558527"]last week's shows[/article] -- and this week's paparazzi-crashed shopping trip -- but People discovered a review of the buzzcut. "She looks so good she should model," Britney's backup dancer Criscilla Crossland told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. ...

"Georgia Rule" director Garry Marshall says he's responsible for the infamous written reprimand that called Lindsay Lohan irresponsible -- and ended up being far from confidential. "Tough love is a part of this business," Marshall told People at the film's New York premiere.

"American Idol" producers are looking for a band to break big. "The Search for the Next Great American Band" -- let's hope that's just the working title -- was announced on Wednesday night's elimination round, with Ryan Seacrest noting that the show was seeking all types of music being played by people of all ages. This could be good. ...

Maybe tinted windows aren't such a great purchase. Last week they helped [article id="1558620"]bust Busta Rhymes[/article], and this week they had police taking a closer look at Jermaine Dupri. After TMZ.com posted video Wednesday of JD getting pulled over the day before, he explained the nature of the stop to E! News: "I was pulled over because the police said my exhaust pipes were too loud, I had tinted windows and platinum motor plates. Nothing more, nothing less."

Tim Roth is not just any abomination -- he's the Abomination. Variety reports that the actor has been cast as Hulk's nemesis in the upcoming "The Incredible Hulk." ... "Terminator" will be back -- without Arnold Schwarzenegger and director James Cameron, Variety reports. "Terminator 4" is scheduled for a summer 2009 release. ...

Little Rock, Arkansas, CBS affiliate WTHV reports that last weekend -- while fans were buzzing over news that [article id="1558881"]Evanescence dropped two longtime members[/article] -- Amy Lee was off getting married. ...

Chevelle were robbed Wednesday morning in Dallas, the band announced in a post on its MySpace page titled "Let's Get the Thieves". A trailer full of instruments and equipment was jacked, and without their gear, they've had to scrap their tour until further notice. ...

And Drew Barrymore has been named an ambassador against hunger with the United Nations' World Food program -- or has drawn "Angelina duty," as E! News put it. "I can't think of any issue that is more important than working to see that no schoolchild in this world goes hungry," Barrymore said in a statement.
