Snoop Dogg is not welcome in Australia. Authorities announced Thursday (April 26) that the rapper is barred from entering the country after pleading no contest to gun and drug charges in the U.S. this month, Reuters reports. "He doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country," Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews said in a local radio interview. Snoop was scheduled to attend Sunday's MTV Australia Video Music Awards. ...

TMZ.com reports that Eve was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence early Thursday morning in Los Angeles after crashing a Maserati on Hollywood Boulevard. ...

It took them months -- come on, the guy's not even on "American Idol" anymore -- but TMZ finally found a mug shot to accompany the Sanjaya phenomenon ... thanks to The National Enquirer. According to the tabloid, the singer's mother was arrested in February 2005 after the Pierce County, Washington, authorities found marijuana plants growing in the Malakar garage. ...

Suge Knight was set up. TMZ.com posted video yesterday of the Death Row big man confronting a guy who kind of looks like Kevin Federline, but if you listen closely, you'll hear paparazzi telling Suge that it really is K-Fed. Knight apparently doesn't like Federline -- because he's all about Britney Spears: "Britney, that's the homegirl 'cause she's the underdog," he said on the video. "I like the underdog." ...

The White Stripes are coming up on their 10th anniversary without having completed a full-on tour of Canada. "Meg and I thought it was high time to go whole hog," Jack White said in a post on the band's site announcing a tour that kicks off June 24 in Burnaby, British Columbia, and visits each of the 10 Canadian provinces. The band has also lined up shows in New York, Boston and 16 states that White says the band hasn't played, including Alabama and Connecticut. ...

Queen Latifah has been cast in a remake of the the 1984 comedy "All of Me," Variety reports. The original starred Steve Martin as a big-shot attorney whose body was taken over by an heiress (Lily Tomlin). There's no word yet on whether Latifah is playing the body snatcher or snatchee. ...

Hugh Grant was arrested in London on Wednesday after a photographer accused the actor of attacking him with "a tub of food," BBC News reports. The actor was questioned for an hour and released on bail. He will return for questioning next month. ...

Meanwhile, Richard Gere is a wanted man in India. Reuters reports that a court in the northern city of Jaipur ordered the arrest of the actor on Thursday for kissing Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty this month. The court called the repeated kisses at an AIDS awareness event an obscene act committed in public. If he returns to India and is arrested, he faces three months in jail. ...
