Alicia Keys Tour Announced

Singer's 34-city tour begins on February 24 in Miami; opening act is John Legend.

Alicia Keys will be sharing more of her secrets when she launches her Diary Tour in February.

Slated to kick off on February 25 in Miami, the 34-city theater tour will make stops in Los Angeles (March 16 and 17), Atlanta (April 6 and 7), Chicago, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., and other cities; a complete itinerary is expected within the next few days. The trek will wrap up with two shows at Radio City Music Hall in Keys' hometown of New York on April 22 and 23.

R&B newcomer/Kanye West protégé John Legend will join Keys on the tour as her opening act. The two worked together previously when Legend sang background on her single, "You Don't Know My Name."

The Diary Tour launches just a few days after the Grammy Awards ceremony; Keys is nominated for eight awards (see "Kanye Scores 10 Grammy Nominations; Usher And Alicia Keys Land Eight"). The singer talked about her nominations in an interview with MTV News late last year (see "Alicia Keys To Fill In For Kelly Ripa").
