Julia Roberts, who is seven-months pregnant, has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital after experiencing early contractions.
The actress, expected to give birth to twins in January, was accompanied by husband Danny Moder as she checked into an undisclosed L.A. hospital on Saturday, according to People magazine. After hooking the actress up to a fetal monitor, doctors determined that Roberts' condition is not serious.
Roberts' contractions ultimately subsided, but doctors said they plan to keep the actress under observation for at least a short period of time.
Doctors for Roberts, 36, have advised bed rest for the actress until she gives birth.
