System Of A Down, P.O.D. To Keep Rocking While Ozzy Sleeps

Meshuggah, Pulse Ultra also set to play Ozzfest off-dates in some cities.

In some cities, Ozzfest participants System of a Down, P.O.D., Meshuggah and Pulse Ultra will be rocking twice as hard as the headliners. That's because, once again, performers on the bill will be playing shows together during nights off from the tour.

The off-fest dates begin July 9 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and for the first two shows P.O.D. will join the bill, performing between System of a Down and Meshuggah. The other three acts will continue on their own for the remaining shows. So far, six dates have been scheduled. Another two are pending, and will likely be announced in the days ahead.

Ozzfest kicks off July 6, in Bristow, Virginia (see "Rob Zombie To Replace Rage Project On Ozzfest Main Stage").

  • 7/9 - Hershey, PA @ Star Pavilion

  • 7/15 - Portland, ME @ Cumberland Civic Center
