Hot Duos Brooks & Dunn, Morgan & Kershaw Highlight New Releases

LPs from Tom Russell, Ricky Lynn Gregg also hitting stores Tuesday.

New albums by veteran duo Brooks & Dunn and the new pairing of Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw lead the pack of country releases hitting stores Tuesday.

Singer/songwriter Tom Russell will release Borderland, and Ricky Lynn Gregg's new Careful What You Wish For will also hit the racks. The duet album I Finally Found Someone by Morgan and Kershaw on RCA is attracting a lot of attention in country circles, especially since news of an affair between the two figured heavily in court testimony in Kershaw's just-finished divorce case. The first single from the album is the torrid "He Drinks Tequila." Other cuts include "I Can't Think of Anything But You," "29 Again" and "I Must Be Getting Older." Morgan and Kershaw will perform the album's title song Tuesday on the "Live With Regis & Kelly" show.

Brooks & Dunn's eighth album for Arista Nashville, Steers & Stripes, contains their current single, "Ain't Nothing 'Bout You" (RealAudio excerpt), which is #3 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. The duo will kick off their much-ballyhooed Neon Circus tour on April 28 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Ricky Lynn Gregg will present his new RMG album, Careful What You Wish For, with a live webcast concert on Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT. The show, which will be open to the public, will be held at the Bluewind Café in the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee, and will be webcast on www.liveonthenet.com. The album's title cut has been released as a single to country radio.

Singer/songwriter Tom Russell's new Borderland will be issued by Hightone. Russell's new collection of Southwestern-influenced songs includes "When Sinatra Played Juarez," "The Road It Gives, the Road It Takes Away" and "The Santa Fe at Midnight."

David Frizzell will unveil his new album, David Frizzell 2001, on the Internet and on TV and radio. He'll be on ABC Radio Networks' "Real Country" program every day through Sunday, on a Yahoo! chat at 4 p.m. Monday and on WSM-AM and www.wsmonline.com on Tuesday from 8 to 9 a.m. with his new duet partner, Peggy Rains. Frizzell is remembered for such hits as "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma" and "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino to Decorate Our Home."

The Best of Conway Twitty on Big Eye Music contains such favorites from the late Twitty as "Mona Lisa," "It's Only Make Believe" and "Danny Boy."

Don Williams Live Greatest Hits Vol. 2 on RMG has such Williams hits as "Back in My Younger Days," "Stay Young," "I Believe in You" and "'Til the Rivers All Run Dry."
