Britney Spears Plans TV Appearances, DVD/Video, New Album

Tired of Britney Spears yet? No? Good -- because the former Mickey Mouse Club member is planning one last TV blitz before the end of the year.

On December 1, Spears will grace NBC's "Christmas In Rockefeller Center," and will follow that up with a performance at the "1999 Billboard Music Awards" ceremony in Las Vegas on December 8. Three days later, on December 11, she'll be appearing on "Nickelodeon's Big Holiday Help-A-Thon 99."

And that's not all: on November 23, her first home video, "Time Out With Britney Spears" will hit stores, with the DVD version dropping on December 14.

Finally, those chomping at the bit for new Britney material will be glad to know that she's currently in the studio working on her next album, which is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2000.

In other Britney news, the singer has been nominated for four MTV Europe Awards. That awards show will take place at The Point in Dublin on November 11; stay tuned for U.S.

broadcast dates and times (see "Britney, BSB Top Nominations For MTV Europe Awards; Spears, Mariah, Puffy, Manson To Perform").
