Smashing Pumpkins To Re-Release "Siamese Dream" With Original Artwork

While Smashing Pumpkins fans eagerly await the band's next album, their 1993 album, "Siamese Dream" will be re-entering stores on November 16.

A rather unusual re-release, fans should be aware that sonically, there is nothing new included on the "new" "Siamese Dream"; it will feature the album's original track listing and mixes. However, the CD will include the album's original 20-page booklet, which was reduced in size to fit onto a six-page booklet shortly after the album's original release.

The Pumpkins are scheduled to release their next album, which is as yet untitled, on February 15 (see [article id="1425987"]"Smashing Pumpkins Join Ozzy In Osbourne Management Stable"[/article]).

Guitarist-singer Billy Corgan and guitarist James Iha recently performed as an acoustic duo over the weekend at Neil Young's annual acoustic Bridge concert. They performed a new song, "The Age Of Innocence," which Corgan hinted might end up on an upcoming album
