Rage, STP, 3EB, Others On For HFStival

In a sign of summer as sure as beach towels, sunblock, and congestion on the Garden State Parkway, another all-star lineup has been unveiled for the annual Washington, D.C. area radio show HFStival.

This time around, Rage Against The Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, Third Eye Blind, Cypress Hill, Godsmack, the Bloodhound Gang, and the Deftones will hit the stage at Washington's Fed Ex Field on May 28. Staind, Vertical Horizon, Eve 6, Nine Days, and Filter will also play the Memorial Day weekend show.

Organizers are expecting close to 30 acts and more than 90,000 fans to come out for this year's edition of the annual concert. The action will be spread over three stages, and organizers are also promising a midway chock full of the kinds of ubiquitous merchandise, food, drink, and amusements that summer concertgoers have become accustomed to in recent years.

Tickets for the all-day concert are $29.99, and will go on sale Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m.

(ET) via Ticketmaster, which you can reach online through the official WHFS Web site (at whfs.com).

The annual HFStival are arguably the biggest of the summer crop of radio station-sponsored concerts, and in past years has played host to Limp Bizkit, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Everclear, and some of modern rock's finest.
