Pearl Jam's series of 25 two-CD live sets from its recent European tour will be released via the group's Web sites September 5 and will be in stores two weeks later, the band has announced.
The discs will be available at www.pearljam.com and at www.tenclub.net, home of the band's official fan club, according to the latest issue of Pearl Jam's Rumor Pit newsletter, e-mailed to fans and posted online (at www.sonymusic.com).
Fans ordering online can buy individual sets or all 25 of the double LPs at once. The newsletter said the sets will be priced around $10.98 each, with no discount for buying all 25 at one time. The series includes shows from May 23, when the band played Lisbon, Portugal to June 29, when it played Oslo, Norway.
The partial set played the following day at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, where nine people died following a crush of fans in front of the stage during Pearl Jam's performance, will not be released. The band's earlier warm-up shows in Bellingham, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia also won't be released.
According to the newsletter, the group likely will put out a series of live double albums from its upcoming North American tour, which kicks off Thursday in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
