Offspring Contribute Music To New Video Game

Now that The Offspring has wrapped up its 1999 touring schedule Monday night in Mexico City, the band's fans will next be able to hear the group on a new street luge video game, due in stores this week.

Several cuts from The Offspring's 1997 album "Ixnay On The Hombre" are featured in "Jugular Street Luge Racing" from Headgames Entertainment, including "All I Want," "Leave It Behind," and "Mota."

Members of the group are known for their love of extreme sports and stunts, and guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman and drummer Ron Welty can both be seen street luging in the band's "Americana" home video.

Earlier this year, The Offspring helped support a BMX jump-off competition held in Las Vegas just before a show at the House of Blues (see [article id="1432905"]"The Offspring Sponsors Vegas BMX Competition, Adds Radio Spots To Tour"[/article]).
