Mobb Deep's Prodigy Unveils New LP Online

Prodigy, a member of the Queens, New York-based hardcore rap duo Mobb Deep, will be releasing a new online-only double album.

In a statement posted on his Web site, Prodigy said the new album, titled "The Best Of P," features 27 rare and unreleased tracks, and will only be available at his site (www.infamousstores.com), an online emporium that will present fans with music, movies, games, books, and previews of his upcoming albums, side projects, and direct-to-video releases (including "Murder Muzik: The Movie," scheduled for release in September).

The site, the statement continues, also allows visitors to participate in online auctions for group-related memorabilia, including items of jewelry the underground group has worn in its music videos.

"I'm also auctioning my S320 Benz on the Auction Block section of the site," Prodigy writes. "Starting price, $40,000."

After his

online-only release, the prolific rap entrepreneur will release an offline solo album tentatively titled "The H.N.I.C." and featuring guests such as Noreaga, Nas, and his Mobb Deep bandmate, Havoc.
