Rancid Gets Studio Help From A Bosstone

October 10 [10:00 EDT] -- The Mighty Mighty Bosstones took a little time out of their tour schedule recently for a little studio time with fellow ska-punks Rancid.

Bosstones singer Dicky Barrett joined Rancid in a southern California studio to work on a track that will turn up on the next Rancid album, which should arrive next spring.

Dicky isn't the only special guest that will turn up on the next Rancid effort: members of the partly-reunited British ska band the Specials will also appear on the album.

Meanwhile, Dicky rejoined his fellow Bosstones to retake the road, with fellow Bostonians Bim Skala Bim, the Amazing Royal Crowns, and Dropkick Murphy's.
