Montell Jordan Lets It Ride With Flurry Of New Projects

In the wake of the recent chart-topping success of his new album, "Let's Ride," Montell Jordan has wasted no time lining up both singing and producing gigs for no less than five projects.

Jordan recently wrapped up recording a song for the upcoming "Dr. Doolittle" soundtrack, which also includes contributions from Jody Watley with Dwayne Wiggins, Aaliyah, Playa and Brandy's brother, Ray J. Jordan, who has previously worked with "Dr. Doolittle" star, Eddie Murphy, providing two songs and making a brief on-screen appearance in Murphy's "The Nutty Professor.

Jordan has also recorded a track with Monifa and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Flesh Bone for the new Jackie Chan film, "Rush Hour," and has signed on to record a new version of "Against All Odds" for a planned Phil Collins tribute album.

When not recording his own material, the singer has been producing songs for Shanice and Az Yet, and he is currently in talks to perform at several dates of this summer's Superfest tour,

which launches on June 27 in Los Angeles with L.L. Cool J, LSG, K-Ci & JoJo and Dru Hill.
