He's done film, music, and TV, and now rapper Ice-T is adding video games to his resume.
Ice-T has inked a deal with Fox Interactive to provide the voice for the character of Agent Nathaniel Cain in the science-fiction/adventure game, "Sanity, Aiken's Artifact," a project Fox is currently developing.
In "Sanity," set thirty years in the future, players assume the part of Cain, a government agent with "psionic" mental powers who is charged with finding and capturing rogue criminals with similar psychic abilities.
The "Sanity: Aiken's Artifact" game will be available from Fox Interactive in both Windows and Macintosh formats this fall, although a firm release date has yet to be announced.
Ice-T plans to celebrate the video game deal with an appearance at Fox Interactive's booth at the Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center on May 12 from 2 to 6 p.m. (PT).
With the video game credit, Ice joins the company
of such multi-media performers as David Bowie, who last year composed music -- and appeared as a character -- in the "Omikron: The Nomad Soul" video game (see "David Bowie Writes 'Nomad' Music For Virtual Game").
