Puya, Fishbone Round Out Performers For Watcha Tour

After some last minute shuffling, the 1999 Watcha Tour has announced a final lineup for its inaugural outing, which is slated to kick off on August 1 in Miami.

The Latin-tinged offshoot of the highly successful Warped Festival now features a bill that includes Control Machete, Illya Kuryaki, the Chris Perez Band, Molotov, Cafe Tacuba, and Puya, which will roll into Watcha after wrapping up its stint on this year's Ozzfest.

Other bands booked for one or more of the Watcha Tour dates are Fishbone, Titan, Royal Crown Revue, Union 13, Atomic Fireballs, Todos Tus Muertos, Bersuit, Enanitos Verdes, and Viva Malpache.

An exact lineup for each date of the Watcha Tour is expected to get hammered out with the next week or so, but artists on the bill will most likely rotate from city to city.

Cypress Hill had signed on to headline Watcha, but pulled out last month in order to concentrate on recording a pair of new albums, one in English and another in Spanish (see [article id="1427765"]"Cypress Hill Steps Down From Watcha Tour"[/article]).

After Cypress balked, organizers told MTV News that they were negotiating with rapper Eminem to fill the vacant spot, since he would already be out on the road with the Warped Tour, but he turned down the offer as well.
