Depeche Mode Sets Itinerary For First U.S. Tour In Four Years

After wrapping up a series of dates in Europe, Depeche Mode plans to kick-off its first North American tour since 1994 on October 27 in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The launch of the tour is coinciding with the release of a new double-album retrospective, "The Singles '86-'98," and the band plans to release a new single recorded specifically for the compilation, "Only When I Lose Myself," to radio on September 15.

As we previously reported (see "Depeche Mode Gearing Up For New Video,") the British band that helped popularize synth-based pop to alternative audience in the '80s, filmed a video for the new song last month in New York City with director Brian Green.
