Vertical Horizon Added To Rockfest, DMB Tour

As Vertical Horizon continues to dominate Contemporary Hit Radio with "Everything You Want," the band has just added more dates to its upcoming tour plans, including an appearance at the Hard Rock Rockfest in July and an opening stint for the Dave Matthews Band in September.

Vertical Horizon will join other acts such as Metallica, Kid Rock, Stone Temple Pilots, and Barenaked Ladies for the third edition of the Rockfest, slated for the Chicago Motor Speedway on July 22 (see "Metallica, Kid Rock, 3EB Rev Up For Rockfest 2000").

Third Eye Blind, with whom Vertical Horizon will head out on the road beginning on July 7 in St. Paul, Minnesota, has also signed on to perform at Rockfest 2000, which last year drew some 130,000 concertgoers to the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the event.

Vertical Horizon will be playing for masses of a different sort in early September, when the group will open the final five dates of the

upcoming Dave Matthews Band tour, which launches on June 19 in Columbus, Ohio (see "Dave Matthews Band One Hot Ticket... Again").
