As the 1999 edition of the Warped Tour gets ready for its June 25 launch in San Antonio, Texas, organizers are firming up plans for its Latin artist offshoot, the Watcha Tour.

Cypress Hill has already been confirmed for the outing (see [article id="1427767"]"Cypress Hill Is Touring, Tattooing, And Recording En Espanol"[/article]), which is slated to kick off on August 1 at Miami's Pompano Amphitheater Grounds.

Other artists lined up for the inaugural Watcha Tour include Royal Crown Revue, Molotov, Bersuit, Cafe Tacuba, Control Machete, Enanitos Verdes, Illa Kuryaki, Los Moscosos, Todos Tus Muertos, Titan, Union, and Viva Malpache.

Sources close to the festival indicate that more artists will be added to the bill in the next few weeks. A final schedule and itinerary for Watcha is still being hammered out, as bands are likely to rotate on and off during its course.
