Cradle Of Filth Bringing "PanDaemonAeon" To Home Video

You probably won't be catching it on "Total Request Live" anytime soon, but the grim metal purveyors in Cradle Of Filth cranked out a video for "From The Cradle To Enslave" that could soon be coming to a VCR near you.

The band, who makes Marilyn Manson look like a Cub Scout, will release the clip as part of its upcoming "PanDaemonAeon" home video, which will also feature behind-the-scenes moments, live performance footage, and interview clips.

Metal doesn't come much darker than the form that Cradle Of Filth churns out, and the band continues that tradition with its clip for "ŠEnslave." The video owes some debt to the Hammer Horror flicks of the '60s and '70s and sees the band team with cult director Alex Chandon ("Pervirella," "Bad Karma", "Drillbit," and "Siamese Cop").

For the shoot, the band employed the use of numerous exposed women, dwarves, amputees, and more than 120 gallons of blood (more than was used in the film "Hellraiser," as representatives for the band gleefully

point out). The clip also features the talents of Eileen Daly of British vampire flick "Razorblade Smile" as well as Emily Bouffante, Emma Red, and Louisa Morando of the London fetish scene.

The performance footage comes from the band's stop at London's Astoria in June of 1998 and sees the band ripping through "Dusk and Her Embrace", "Beneath the Howling Stars", "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids," "Malice Through the Looking Glass" and other selections.

PanDaemonAeon" will hits stores on October 5.
