Buckcherry Sets West Coast Mini-Tour

The tattooed glam rockers of Buckcherry are about to emerge from the studio and flex their stage muscles with a series of West Coast tour dates.

A spokesperson for the L.A. act told MTV News that the shows are to keep the band's live chops in shape after a long layaway in the studio recording the follow-up to its 1999 self-titled debut LP, which spawned the hits [article id="1440800"]"Lit Up" [RealVideo][/article] and "For The Movies." The group began recording its second effort, still untitled, in May with producer John Travis, best known for his work with Kid Rock and Sugar Ray. The band has just wrapped up the mixing sessions for the album, which has a tentative release date of March 2001.
