Boyz II Men Return With "Amazing" Track
While the group prepares an album for release later this year, a new song from Boyz II Men will be released on February 15.
The quartet's "So Amazing" will appear on the second disc of original music from "The Hurricane," which will also include the film's score by Christopher Young.
The first soundtrack LP was released on January 11 and features a version of "So Amazing" by the song's author, Clark Anderson. Boyz II Men had originally recorded the number for the first album; rights issues kept it off the disc, which also features tracks by The Roots, Black Star, K-Ci & JoJo, and others (see [article id="1426066"]"Roots, Black Star, Common, More For 'The Hurricane'"[/article]).The film's star, Denzel Washington, just scored a Golden Globe for Best Actor In A Motion Picture - Drama for his portrayal of boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, who was imprisoned for 19 years following a wrongful murder arrest and conviction.Boyz II Men iscurrently in the studio working on a new album, the group's first since 1997's "Evolution." No release date has been set.
