Puffy, Busta, Missy, Nas Come Out For Big Pun Video

An all-star cast of hip-hop and rap stars have been added to the lineup for Big Punisher's posthumous video for "It's So Hard," as Busta Rhymes, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Nas, Missy Elliott, L.L. Cool J, and Noreaga have all filmed sequences for the clip.

Those artists, along with DJ Premier, Mack 10, Xzibit, Angie Martinez, and Melle Mel, recently came out for the four-day, multi-city shoot, with director Chris Robinson traveling to Miami, Los Angeles, and New York City to capture all the cameos for the clip.

As we reported last week, the special video tribute also features guest spots from Lil' Kim, Fat Joe, the Terror Squad, Mobb Deep, Funkmaster Flex, and the Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, among others (see "Lil' Kim, Jennifer Lopez, Others Set For Big Pun Video").

According to Loud Records, principal photography for "It's So Hard" was shot in Los Angeles earlier this month during the same weekend as the 14th Annual Soul

Train Music Awards (see "TLC, Mary J. Blige Win At Soul Train Awards").

The concept for the clip centers around the global radio premiere of "It's So Hard" and features each of the guest artists performing one of the lines delivered by Big Pun, who died of a heart attack on February 7 (see "UPDATE: Big Punisher Suffers Fatal Heart Attack").

A rough cut of the video is already being screened for industry insiders, and Loud Records says that it hopes to deliver the final edit of "It's So Hard" to various TV outlets possibly as early as this week.

"Yeeeah Baby," the second album from Big Punisher, is due out on April 4.
