98 Degrees, Babyface, Chrissie Hynde To Salute Carole King

The smooth-voiced men of 98 Degrees will be in prestigious company Thursday night when they perform alongside a group of musical legends at a concert in New York City to honor the work of Carole King.

Also on the bill for the event (which is taking place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden) will be Pretenders leader Chrissie Hynde, pop-gospel legend Mavis Staples, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, and Rickie Lee Jones. 98 Degrees will be performing a song that King originally wrote for the Shirelles, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?"

In other 98 Degrees news, the band will be releasing a Christmas album, "This Christmas," next week, on October 19 (see [article id="1426925"]"98 Degrees Records With Mariah, Preps Christmas Album, Gets Tour Rolling"[/article]. The first single from the album, "This Gift," will hit radio on October 26.

The foursome will also be on hand for Thursday afternoon's installment of MTV's "Total

Request Live" to premiere the video for "Thank God I Found You," the group's collaboration with Mariah Carey and Joe. The song will be featured on Carey's upcoming album "Rainbow" (see [article id="1426919"]"Mariah's Thankful She Found 98 Degrees And Joe"[/article]).
