Macy Gray, Sugar Ray, Aguilera Set For Zootopia 2000

Macy Gray, Hanson, Christina Aguilera, and the Goo Goo Dolls are set to play the Zootopia 2000 benefit concert, sponsored by New York radio station Z100 and scheduled for June 2 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

Sugar Ray, Destiny's Child, Mandy Moore, Savage Garden, Jessica Simpson, and Vitamin C have also signed on for the annual Zootopia show, which will raise money for a pair of area charities, Computers For Kids and SHINE.

Computers For Kids, a program begun by Z100 and Circuit City for last year's Zootopia, donates new computers, printers, and installation to schools in the metro New York City arena.

Proceeds from the Zootopia show will also benefit SHINE, a pro-social organization that uses music, art, and technology to help youths take a stand against teen violence and several other issues.

As part of this year's event, Z100 is also teaming up with "Teen People" magazine to create "Trendfest at Z Village," an entertainment

complex that will be set up in the Nassau Coliseum parking lot.

Teen People" editors will be at Trendfest, looking for teens displaying the newest fashions for possible inclusion in its Trendspotters fashion page in the magazine's back-to-school issue, set to hit newsstands on September.

For more information about the Trendfest or for tickets to the Zootopia 2000 concert, be sure to check out Z100's official web site at www.z100.com.
