Blake Lively Sets The Record Straight About Baby James' Godmother

Her co-stars have been imbued with magical powers, nonetheless.

Today, in News That Seemed Too Good To Be True, Because It Was: Blake Lively has set the record straight about baby daughter James' godmothers.

Despite "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" co-star Amber Tamblyn's revelation that she and fellow cast members Alexis Bledel and America Ferrara are godmothers to the newborn, Lively recently clarified the point.

"I never named them my godmothers," Lively told E! News. "They're my dear friends. I would say my baby has a lot of fairy godmothers."

So who is the tangible, earthly godmomma to Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds' little bundle? "My sister [Robyn] would be the one to take care of my baby," Lively said.

We're admittedly a little crushed by this switcheroo, though there's something to be said for attaining fairy godmother status. Just ask Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, and – most recently – Helena Bonham Carter. It's a pretty sweet gig.
