Bridget Regan Runs Away With 'Wonder Woman' Movie Casting Poll!

Regan netted just over 62 percent of the total vote, while runner-up Megan Gale (who was previously cast as Wonder Woman in George Miller's stalled live-action "Justice League" movie) received 15 percent of the total votes. The rest of the pool of potential Wonder Women, which included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Biel and Megan Fox, only garnered between 1-5 percent of the total votes each.

However, there was a massive level of support for a few ladies in our write-in section, with Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls and "Firefly" actress Morena Baccarin each receiving as many write-in votes as the third- and fourth-place finishers.

Here's what some of our readers had to say about their votes:

@autumnrae89: Voted for @BridgetRegan as WW, I think she shows a lot of WW qualities in her role as Kahlan in LotS.

Toast-Jammer: I love Evangeline Lilly, but I think she's a bit thin & North American. I'd love to get away with saying Tina Fey - just let special effects worry about the rough stuff. 10 years ago I'd have said Salma Hayek or Lucy Lawless.

@entertainme09: I'm really not too keen on JLH or Beyonce as Wonder Woman. I still think Joss Whedon had the best idea: Cobie Smulders

@lonelypond: there's no one on the WW list that makes me go "wow yes" but I voted for Cobie Smulders who at least gets hmm that might work

Baz6(sic)6: Said it before, I'll say it again, Zoe Bell. Or get creative on the casting, look at what creative casting did for Heath Ledger's Joker...

Bamf!: Well, Mickey Rourke has made a big comeback to star in a huge comic book movie, so why not his Wrestler co-star Marisa Tomei? Ok you might say she's a little too old, and her figure maybe a little petite, but she still looks great! From the list above I would say Jessica Biel has the edge, I don't know who half the others are!

@greglmercer: Jennifer Love Hewwit said she wanted the role the other day, right? I'd be okay with that if she muscled up a bit.

Well, there you have it! Keep an eye on Splash Page tomorrow for our next weekly poll!
