Tyler, The Creator Announces A New Album Coming ASAP -- And Drops Two Songs From It

Plus, he's got a Lil Wayne and Kanye West collab on the way.

Tyler, The Creator surprised fans Wednesday night when he announced that his upcoming album, Cherry Bomb, is set to be released Apr. 13.

The surprises didn’t end there. The MC also dropped the project’s colorful cover art on Instagram.

Beyond the album and artwork announcement, Tyler also unleashed two new songs for fans with “Deathcamp” and “F--king Young/Perfect" -- the latter of which he dropped a video for, too.

The album, which is available for pre-order on iTunes, is also going to include a track that features Kanye West and Lil Wayne, according to Pigeons & Planes.

Those features make sense. Kanye West is on record saying that he considers the OF MC a "good mentor." Meanwhile, Tyler and Wayne collaborated on Game's "Martians Vs. Goblins" track.

While Yeezy and Weezy may appear on the album, Tyler let fans know that other artists also made important contributions to the project.

The news dropped as Tyler’s Golf app launched.

“It's a bunch of different things that are original, curated and constantly changing,” Tyler’s manager Christian Clancy told The Fader about the app. "Original series, content, live streaming, radio, tour stuff, golf wang, interactive and whatever other buzzwords that sound mildly annoying and marketing-like.”

Beyond the app, Tyler also announced Golf Magazine, which is set to be unveiled later this year.

The rapper's next stop? Coachella.

COACHELLA SATURDAY.

A new album, huge collabs, an app, a magazine and big shows? Looks like 2015 is shaping up to be a big year for Tyler.
