We may have to wait until October to watch Tyler Hoechlin formally make his debut as Superman in Supergirl Season 2, but we don't have to wait very long to see the former Teen Wolf star don the iconic House of El family crest. In fact, we get to see Hoechlin in Kal-El's red and blue supersuit right now.

Supergirl has released a first look at the Kryptonian cousins all suited up in preparation for its second season, and we have to say that Hoechlin's superhero quiff is really quite — for lack of a better word — super.

Hoechlin will make his debut in National City as Clark Kent in the first two episodes of Season 2. After months of texting, Clark finally comes to National City to pay his cousin Kara a proper visit. Of course, it probably won't be long until Clark sheds the glasses to fight alongside her.
