The 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards and festival kicked off in Austin, Texas on March 13 with a day full of sun and live music.

The 2014 Woodies Festival, an afternoon of non-stop live music that amped the crowd for the night ahead. Between all of the exclusive interviews and electric performances from bands like Phantogram, Wild Cub, London Grammar, Echosmith, Vic Mensa, American Authors and Sam Smith, fans couldn't get enough. Later on, Lil Wayne opened the Woodies and got the audience hyped for some 'huge mother****in' artists,' which included a delicious performance of 'Chocolate' by swoon-worthy Brit band The 1975, and a short-shorts, confetti and balloon-filled appearance from Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX, when they performed the undisputed song of the summer, 'Fancy.'
