The 2005 mtvU Woodie Awards took place on November 2, at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Lighting up the stage that night was Matisyahu who performed his hits "Youth," and "King Without a Crown," while Little Brother later took the stage to perform "Lovin It," and "Still Lives Through." Winning big that night was My Chemical Romance who took home the award for Woodie of the Year while Motion City Soundtrack won Breaking Woodie.
