I just heard this song for the first time last night. Pretty funny too. What is in the background is Nam-myoho-renge-kyo which is the basis of Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism. More information on Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism on SGI-USA.org Great song, and we do say Nam-myoho-renge-kyo usually between 5-30 minutes at a time. Some cases we chant that longer.
