It's because MTV wouldn't air this unless the names were censored. Al intentionally bleeped them out so he could clearly point out he was being censored.
Censoring those names just made this video more funny! ;-) It changes the whole meaning of the song, in my opinioon, though! :-o But I guess that Al Yankovic has approved the censorship, though? Strange that MTV did not censor the name of RCIAA-victims and other things too, though?! Would have been interesting to know the reason for this censorship?
