This is one of the best 80's songs ever!
As far as I'm concerned, '86 was a pretty bad year overall... The MTV revolution was over at that point... Every artist wanted to be on MTV, and MTV was a big player. The focus was on commercial appeal more than it had been previously. Of course, I believe that was the year "120 Minutes" premiered - so not all was bad on MTV. And there was Papa Don't Preach!
