As a Saudi Arabian, I want you to notice, MTV chose saudi activists. People who do not like the Saudi society. Because it makes for a better episode. I AM A SAUDI WOMAN, I AM PROUD, AND I AM HAPPY IN MY COUNTRY. Of course now all of you have the wrong idea about Saudi Arabia because all you saw was a bunch of kids who don't like it there. Why don't you film the real lives of saudis? is it that boring? wont make for a good show and a lotta buzz? We live peaceful lives, we aren't monsters.
The youth of Saudi Arabia are trying to put a new face on Islam. Although the government has a fundamental view on life, the youth see the freedom the Quran offers and are trying to change the outlook. It is wrong that women don't have as many rights as they should, because it is a man's world. And unfortunately, men have all the Authority in the Saudi Palace. The Quran places so many rights on women. The government there is doing the exact opposite of what they are commanded.

i had quite a few friends who were muslim and they were amazing people who came from great families.i think in Saudi Arabia they are just abusing their power and translating theWord to the way that they want society to be.i am Christian.and NOBODY is perfect. but all will have to face the Almighty sooner or later.
