This episode is called "Resist the Power". Therefore it is depicting people who are NOT happy with their government. MTV has also portrayed individuals who are not so keen with the American government as well. I think this episode is very informative and allows these young individuals to get their voices heard. It's ok to not be pleased with the way your government is forcing you to live your life just as it is ok to have pride in your country as well. Its YOUR prerogative. These people have just as much right as anyone else to express their view towards their country!

16 & pregnant, teen mom, maury..I don't care because I am glad to be an American Female. I have options & freedom. I get to be treated like a person. If you can't say the same then deuces. I thinks it just wrong that woman get treated the way they do there. I think they should do like a role swap for a month with the men & women. See how fast **** changes. We are all living, breathing humans who should all have the same rights.

i agree! im a Canadian born woman but my husband is Pakistani and has lived in Saudi Arabia for years and said the same thing as you, we plan to visit soon

Fatima is very beautiful. Her family seems well off, not many women are headed to the mall to purchase fabric to start a company! The women are smart and decent, it's such a crime for them to be accused otherwise.

I'm afraid for the people who need real assistance who cannot recieve it unless they have a family member supporting it. what if you do not have that? how will you get help? Mothers are in prison with children for being raped. crimes against women are all over the world, but in the eastern countries the crimes are without any reason.

I have not heard that colored abayas are forbidden. Of course most people who grow up in this culture are unlikely to realize how foreign it is to most of the rest of the world. The idea of Vice and VIrtue police for example, is astounding!

I'm happy this aired on television because it gives everyone a chance to see a different lifestyle from someone who actually lives there. Fatima is a great individual. I love how she wants to be fashionable but still carries herself as a lady.
