I completely disagree with the double standard on this issue. Well I hate all double standards but there is nothing wrong with a guy dating a younger or older girl. You can date whoever you want!

I can kinda see his point though. She WAS being immature there. The only reason she got on stage was to dance with those two shirtless dudes and make him jealous. Then she tries to pull the innocent act when he got mad. Yes, he shouldn't have left her there, but she shouldn't have acted that way just because he wouldn't dance with her.

18 year olds can date 21 year olds. As for Christina being 16 and then 17, it depends on the state laws.

Age may be just a number but Christina being 16 dating a 21 year old who clearly shows he's not that interested in the first place is just wasting their time. Maybe when both are older it could work? Both are very immature. Not every relationship is perfect, I'd know. My man and I have an 8 year age gap but we're both independent working individuals so who knows. Anything's possible

I see a lot of girls here complaining about the guys and how they are losers for dating young girls. Do you really think its because girls their age won't give them the time of day? Haha like really that isn't the reason. But yet its ok for girls to date older guys but not vice versa. Girls are the biggest hypocrites there are. Age doesn't play a role in a relationship. Maturity does, maturity DOES NOT come with age. All four people in this episode were immature not just the guys. If you think the guys had a problem for dating a younger person how about you try and not automatically blame the guy. Try and look at the problems the girls have. They don't date older guys because they are more mature thats bs.This whole thing is stupid. Everybody here in the comments section hates men no matter what. Every problem is caused by the guys. If Chris really cared about Swayze, he wouldn't have minded that she was still in high school or that she had high school friends or that she still had to follow her parents' rules. I was 18 and dating a 21 year old and we never had any issues like that.

My boyfriend and I are 9 years apart: I'm 21 and he's 30. We've been together for 8 months and been living together for 5. We're still really happy and never have any problems like these couples.

My boyfriend is 5 years older than me we started dating when I was 19 almost 20 and we have the best relationship ever... we have now been together for 3 years and things are still great not every relationship is going to fall apart just because one person is older than the other.
