I think this episode of True Life could have found better people to be on here. My parents are four years apart just like one of the couples on this episode. I'm 17 and I'm talking to a 25 year old. I don't fully see a huge problem with it. My parents know, they don't mind.

Yeah, I'm a drummer in a band that tours the world... My girlfriend is 19, lives at home with her parents. I'm 28, do my own thing... We run into a few problems, but being in this type of relationship in a healthy way definitely requires a keen mind, on both sides...

I disagree that eighteen years old is to young to be dating a twenty-one year old. She's of legal age. She's technically an adult. But then again if she's living at home still with her parents, then she must follow their rules. But for the age thing, I see no harm in it!

aw swayze is so sweet! she definitely seems like a really nice girl & more mature that most. even if she may not know how to do everything she seems responsible & open to learning. i can easily see how she could be bored with guys her own age. she has a personality a lot of older guys would like, she just needs to make sure she picks the right guy. her mom was really ignorant for not giving her some freedom. it is hard to date someone who you can't spend much time with, that can put a strain on any relationship & i mean a 1230 curfew @ 18?? seriously?? & you expect her to just be totally fine with it?lol my parents were super strict & i had a 2 am curfew at 16. i just loved how calm & quiet she was compared to that other girl. there were a few things her bf did i didn't like that seemed to stem from his insecurities like not wanting her to hang out with her friends or people know how old she was etc, but he didn't seem that bad. he was nice enough to let her stay with him when she got kicked out & that's not an immature move. she could do way better if she wanted to though. christina was pretty annoying & a typical teen. her boyfriend was a douchebag & immature as hell & she was immature too, so obviously that's not going to go well lol. btw though, it's not weird or uncommon for younger girls to date older guys. girls generally are more mature than boys so it basically evens out. i don't think it says anything wrong about the guy. just cause he may date a younger girl doesn't mean there's something weird about him or that he can't date ones his own age.
