Kailynn, if they don't get your sympathy who does? How exactly does a child get their parents to do anything? Neither of these girls did ANYTHING to put themselves in this situation. They both should be commended for keeping it together.

Neither of these girls get sympathy from me,the one girl needs to use her money to buy birth control for her sisters and the other needs to get her parents working.

Hey Mike, I was wondering if Unique's situation has improved since this show. I just saw it the other day, but apparently its about 2 years old. If things are still rough for her I'd like to be able to send her clothes and other things. I see you said she got married so maybe things aren't so bad but still I have tons of stuff I could send her way. Let me know if there is any way to get in touch with her.

Judgment, judgments...it WAS discussed how the BF was working...Unique took Cassie to the Dr for the ultrasound so her BF could work. Second, I don't like smoking either, but damn! Let the girl have something...tats and piercings could have come before her mother killed herself. It's hard to believe there are so judgmental people on here...she should be put on a pedastool b/c if she was really selfish she would have let her siblings to into the system.

I get stressed just watching this. These girls are incredible. And that girl's boyfriend is so unhelpful. "You just need to relax or what is everyone else gonna do?" uh ok look at her situation!!

I agree you about the smoking. That is SO expensive and it really racks up your bills, plus eventually she'll get sick and have to pay for that. She's an amazing woman and shouldn't throw her life away on cigarettes, though I can see why she smokes due to the stress.

Unique is an AMAZING Woman. I have known her for most of her life. We both grew up in a very small town in Montana. I was very sad when i heard about her mom. I praise her for what she is doing.And for anybody watching that is wondering Stephen and Unique stayed together and are now married....if you are reading this Unique stay strong and be very proud of what you are doing.

Im sorry but tht cassie chick is she doing anything???And her oyfriend? they are the ones effing and having the baby so now they have tohave to take the resonsibility too

I was in pretty much the same situation. my mom took off when i was 17 and my dad was hit by a car when i was young so he can never work again. i was left with my 3 lil sisters and 1 older brother my brother worked untill he left for the army.then i was left to work,cook clean and take care of my little sisters. Unique said anyone in her position would do the same thing and shes right. you may think you couldnt do it but when it comes down to your siblings id think anyone would do anything for them.i just wanna thank unique for doing the show it let me know im not alone and there are alot of people out there in this same situation. thank you girl. and i wish i had your myspace! lol.. well much love and goodluck with everything xoxo kit

It's sad that unique didn't have the support of her sister or the sister's bf. The pregnant sister could've worked in the beginning of her pregnancy so they wouldn't be struggling. And they didn't even mention if the bf worked, either.

If unique really wants to save money she should really quit smoking, I know when I did i saved atleast 150 bucks a month, and maybe she could do without the tattoos and piercings.. why ruin such a beautiful face and body??

This was a good show to watch. I feel bad for them to have to Supporting Their Family. I wish that this show comes on tv again.
