Jeremy, Blanca, and Austin are three young people who are losing their sight. They try to live each day of their lives with as much normalcy as possible, but the deterioration of one of their major senses weighs heavily on each of them.

A lot of people think that if you have any kind of vision problem, glasses will automatically help you, the truth is that glasses can only help or correct certain problems. If you have blind spots for example, glasses aren't going to give you that vision back.

Austin's story really touched my heart. I think he's so sweet and it makes me so mad that this has happened to him. I pray that God will give him peace as well as strength. <3

I became partially blind from a hemorrhagic stroke 2 years ago. Currently in waiting on SSI/SSDI benefits application to be reviewed! I hope these 3 know they can apply for at least SSI with their blindness, it's simple & easy to do online & if your case gets denied there are places/hospitals that treated you that will help you to get the benefits approved. They can also get it if they have depression/anxiety disorders due to this too (or from before). It would definitely help them a bit w money

i'm sitting here crying because this show just tugs at your heart.i feel really bad that i can and austin can't. he should sue the pants off those dentist.

If all of these eople are legally blind they can get ssid to help them.

I was diagnose with RP last week. My vision is getting worst and worst more at night

Jeremy cant wear glasses because his vision is spotted he has like a big blur spot when he looks forward glasses cant fix that ,000a

I hope he suied whoever dentist did this to him and take everything that they got because he lost everything because of the mistake of others, it's not fair.

this is so so incredibly sad. this is why people need to appreciate what they have. God bless them. this is why i'm donating every single one of my organs, including what can be used from my eyes

when i watched this i cried when i saw austin's situation he is such a special person i just want to give a shout out to him because hes such an insperation i dont know what i would have done in his situation because i have been put to sleep to have 13 teeth removed but any ways i just think hes just a person that i look up to

I have the same eye condition as you! But with my RP I am night blind, and like Jeremy, I go to a blind school in arizona.

I feel so horrible for all of these people.. However, why is the eighteen year old girl with no money and no job having a child?!? At the beginning of the episode she said she had $200! That will buy what like 4 bags of diapers? Also why is she getting acrylic nails when she should be saving for her baby! SMH
